First of all, make sure you are doing it for the right reason. If it's for a family than the pros are obvious. It's to create a family infrastructure to insure the success of the next generation.
If a couple who wants to start a family bases their entire marriage solely on the feeling of first love, they are deluding themselves and it won't last. Love only endures if you can emotionally mature enough to handle all the trials and tribulations that come with marriage. It's no picnic.
If it's for monogamy without children, then it better be that the couple are better financially together than separate and this understanding can keep a couple together for life, because on paper, it works out for tax reasons as well.
So, the pros and cons have to be established based upon your reasons for getting married in the first place or it will not work. Please read my notes on YEU LA GI.
