Crown Royal Whisky (History & Cocktail recipes)

Crown Royal Deluxe
This legendary whisky, created in 1939 to celebrate the visit of the King of England, has a blend of more than 50 distinct, full-bodied whiskies matured in white oak barrels. Crown Royal has a taste profile defined by smoothness, enhanced by a rich, lingering finish.

Crown Royal Black
This blend has an extra bold flavor and deeper oak background with dark/sweet maple notes and a light vanilla flavor towards the finish. It is a darker, more robust whisky blended at 90 Proof, yet with the signature smoothness of Crown Royal.

Crown Royal Reserve
Made from whiskies hand selected by by our master blender, Crown Royal Reserve is his personal gift to Crown Royal enthusiasts: a creamy, rich, reserve-grade blend, flush with the sharp, clove and cinnamon top notes of rye.

Crown Royal Cask No. 16
This blend of whiskies is finished in rare French oak cognac casks and marked "16" to represent its place of origin. The cask finishing imparts subtle hints of rich dried fruit and creates the balanced yet complex taste of Crown Royal Cask No. 16.

Crown Royal XR Extra Rare
This limited-edition blend is made with the last remaining batch of whisky distilled at the Waterloo distillery. It offers a full-bodied bouquet with a creamy, rounded finish.
