Prime Rib (Roast Beef) easy perfect recipe slow roast


This is a fool proof recipe for any home cooks that will guaranty a perfect roast every time. All you need is a good piece of meat.

First start by leaving the meat out to room temperature, which is normally around 2 hours. Then rub with a little oil and sprinkle liberally with Kosher salt, ground black pepper, garlic and onion powder.

Use a heavy cast iron pan or any metal pan that can be use for oven baking, not plastic or rubber handle. Brown meat on all side in this hot pan and then place whole pan into a 200F for 30 minutes per pound of meat. Make sure to let meat rest for at least 20 minutes before carving.


Use the same pan with drippings to make au jus.
Add 1 can of beef stock, some soy sauce, worcheshire sauce
